How To Use

By adjusting the cord according to the color-coding, the ball will return to your foot, knee, chest or head when kicked, simulating natural ball movement when training with a partner.

Move the cord through the plastic adjuster so that the hole closest to the ball is within the two marks of the same color.

Keep your hand that is holding the handle besides your waist, the kick the ball on the same side with the hand holding the handle

Foot: The green section allows you to practice proper footwork and kicking. Improve your ability to pass, shoot and receive the ball.

Knee: The orange section allows you to develop your ability to receive the ball by trapping with your thigh and knee.

Chest: Use the yellow section to practice chest traps and chest volleys to help you master the art of maintaining possession.

Head: The blue section allows you to practice proper heading techniques. Learn how to use the proper part of your head, where to strike the ball and the different types of headers including: standard, diving, glancing and flick/backpass.

Hands: The gray section is designed for goalies and for practicing throw-ins. Move the cord within the plastic adjuster so that the hole closest to the ball is within mid-range of the gray section.
Goalies: Place the handle on your wrist. Holding the ball in the same hand, throw the ball across your body about six feet away from you. The ball will bounce and then return to the opposite side of your body, allowing you to train for dives, saves and blocks.
Throw-ins: Throw the ball to the ground about six feet away from you. The ball will bounce and then return to your hands.

Free SpinBend it like Beckham: Soccer Sidekick’s patented swivel design allows the ball to spin freely, without becoming entangled allowing for more touches and quicker ball return.

Hold the cord so that the ball is freely suspended at foot level. Using the edge of your foot, kick the edge of the ball repeatedly, causing the ball to spin. This is great practice for corner kicks, free kicks or volleys, when the ability to curve the ball is essential.

Detachable: Remove the cord attachment and play with friends!!! Not  only does Soccer Sidekick allow you to train without the need of  another player, but it can also be used as a regular soccer ball, so  that you can play with your friends.
